as of today......

it has been a month since christmas...yet it feels like its been 4 months!!!!

Phases

"Innoncence is Bliss" was my favorite essay of the three. I feel it was very well written. I enjoyed the part where Colin's mom was gossiping about all the other girls' dresses using her "petite energetic laugh" . The description of his mom in her "pearly white envoy" was very good. I thought the part about how Colin liked her no matter what she wore. Whether she was "in style" or not, he liked her for who she was.

"Hooked" was also very in depth with imagery. The title itself I believe is clever in the way it is revealing about what the essay is about, yet  not too revealing. Meaning, it still leaves you guessing. I love hearing boys and their fishing!

A night out with......

All of these essays were very descriptive and nicely written. Faja was my favortie becasue i really enjoyed the tone of the paper. you could tell she/ he had a lot of love for her father. I thought the detail about her father's "blank stare" was a really nice addition to the paper. i feel like the tone changed from when her father got home to when he sat on his rocking chair on the porch. a paper itself was not lacking in descriptive detailing and i was able to picture it well.

The two other essays "painting with neil" and " and "a practiced grace" were also very good essays. i thought it was funny how when i read the titles, i expected the papers to be something completely different!! "Painting with neil" did a nice job with setting a tone and getting in detail with Niel's emotions. "A oacticed grace" did a nice job with going into deep detail with the barista.

New Zodiac???

so the zodiac signs changed. instead of me being a capricorn i'm now a sagittarius??? i still think im more like a capricorn :) ITS LIKE THEY'RE CHANGING MY IDENTITY!
